New PP NAUTILUS 5711/1R-001 Rose Gold Parrotfish Large Three-Hand Watch

A Timeless Style ~ 5711/1R-001 Time changes everything. When Master Genta launched the Patek Philippe Nautilus in 1976, it was truly breathtaking. I never imagined a top-of-the-line sports steel watch could be so stunningly designed, and I certainly never imagined PP would release a model so radically different from their traditional style. Decades later, the Nautilus has become a truly remarkable watch. The ilus Parrot has become a classic in the PP sports watch category. From its humble beginnings in stainless steel, it has expanded to gold models with complex functions (chronograph, power reserve indicator, moon phase). The basic Parrot 5711 model had never been released in all-gold (the 5800 chronograph model was available on a gold bracelet) until the 2015 release of the new 5711/1R-001. When I first saw this large gold watch, I thought it was just as "tacky" as a large gold Rolex. But once I held it in my hand, any notions of tacky or gaudy vanished. The case and bracelet are a gorgeous rose gold. The brushed and mirror-polished dials complement each other, all of which have been carefully and skillfully polished. All the edges of the case and bracelet have been finely polished into arc-shaped mirror surfaces. These irregular positions can only be polished by hand. Top-notch details - PP always has this, even the steel model has the same detailed treatment!
